I am a big boy/girl who loves to talk to my family, friends and teachers.
Some times when I talk I get excited and I start to talk very loud when I am inside my house or classroom. When someone uses their loud voice it is called screaming.
When I scream indoors it may hurt someone’s ears and may make them not want to talk to me. When I am inside my house or classroom I need to use my indoor “quiet voice”.
If I want to talk loud or scream I need to go outside. I can be loud and scream in my backyard, on the play ground or at the park.
When I use my quiet voice in my house or classroom my mommy, daddy and teachers will be very happy with me.
