Social Stories

Social Stories are written for children who: 1) have some language and 2) are capable of understanding social situations.

  • They help children see social situations from different perspectives and provide information they are missing (Perspective-Taking Ability).
  • They teach appropriate social responses.
  • They are written from the child’s perspective.

****These stories are just generic outlines for these social situations.  Add specifics such as names, places, pictures, etc. to personalize for the individual**
